In the universal mission to create a dynamic, synodal Church, let us not forget our unsung heroes – our consecrated women. Our Parish boasts seven convents with over 100 devoted nuns, the bedrock of our community. Their humility and boundless generosity deserve more than thanks; they deserve our deepest admiration and appreciation!
On September 23, 2023, our Parish honoured all the religious siters. Fr. Joe Mathias, SJ, delivered a powerful talk on “THE IMPORTANCE AND NECESSITY OF BUILDING A CULTURE OF COLLABORATION” before the Thanksgiving Eucharist. Fr. Joe Mathias was the main celebrant while Frs. John Pradeep, Edward Rodrigues and the Parish Priest were the concelebrants for the Thanksgiving Mass. The Parish English Choir, with their melodious singing and apt hymns, infused the liturgy with sheer beauty.
After the Eucharistic celebration, we felicitated the Superiors of each convent. All the nuns present for the event received a coffee mug bearing the image of the Parish building and words of appreciation as a token of our gratitude.
Special thanks to our six parishioners who sponsored this entire event in cash and kind. A big thanks to behind-the-scenes heroes, including altar servers and Mr. Wilson.
The entire Parish Community expresses “A resounding ‘THANKS’ to our dear sisters, the heartbeat of our vibrant community!”
