Teacher's day is celebrated every year on the 5th of September to acknowledge and appreciate the pivotal role of teachers. To commemorate the same this year, the parish youth along with the help of the Parish Priest and Brother Sandeep dedicated the 10:30 am mass for the teachers in the parish. During the mass, special blessings were given to around thirty teachers. The animation and sermon for the mass underlined the importance of emulating the greatest teacher, our Lord Jesus and what it takes to be his disciple in this world.
After the mass, fun games were organized for the teachers. About 15 teachers participated in the program. Some of the games include Phone number Game, Dumb charades, Pictionary game and Monkey in the middle. Following this, Brother Sandeep gave the concluding speech and felicitated the teachers.
The celebration came to end with a group photo and a bit of chit-chat and merry-making.
